Puget Sound Nutrient General Permit Preliminary Draft Informal Comment Period


We are asking for comments on a preliminary draft of the Puget Sound Nutrient General Permit. This permit will establish nutrient reduction practices for wastewater treatment plants to prevent excess nutrients and protect waters of the state.


Please note that this comment form is for the purpose of submitting a comment to the Washington State Department of Ecology.

After the close of the comment period, we will consider all comments and use them to assist development of a formal permit draft. We plan to complete this draft in Spring 2021 and will hold a formal comment period then. We will not prepare public responses to the comments received during this informal comment period.
