Block 38 West Interim Action Work Plan

Comment: Section 4.1.4 East Property - Lots 6 and 7. This section states that a heating oil release was confirmed on Lot 6 during removal in 1994, and references a report by GeoEngineers dated 1999. However, this information is not substantiated in t...↓his report, or in the Interim Action Work Plan (IAWP) for the Block 38 West property (Farallon November 8, 2019) (i.e., it is not included in Appendix E, as referenced in the document). The information in Farallon's report conflicts with a summary by CH2MHILL in the "Hazardous Materials Discipline Report" (CH2MHILL 2006), which indicates that all USTs and petroleum impacts were on Lots 1 through 5. If it exists, appropriate third-party documentation of the heating oil tank should be included in the report, or the report revised to omit it. It is requested that Ecology upload a complete copy of the 1999 GeoEngineers report onto its website. Thank you.
