Tidewater Transportation and Terminals: Alternative Financial Responsibility Calculation Request
Ecology invites interested members of the public, as well as local and tribal governments, to review and comment on Tidewater Transportation and Terminals’ request for an alternative method of calculating their financial responsibility requirement under Washington Administrative Code 173‑187. This rule requires owners and operators of oil‑handling facilities and covered vessels to demonstrate that they can pay for the costs and damages associated with a major oil spill resulting from their operations.
