I support this project but only as a peaker plant that is used in a way that minimizes cost to rate payers and keeps emissions to a minimum. Additionally I believe TransAlta should be required to develop clean energy generation and/or energy saving p...↓rojects (building electrification, insulation, etc) to reduce local air pollution. This seems very reasonable if they are going to make money while polluting in these communities.↓

I respectfully request that you hold a public hearing to further consider how the conversion of this power plant is affecting the conditions in the Skookumchuck River via the Skookumchuck Dam.
